Ansen thought for a second. "Hm..hard to say, he was wearing a long black trench coat and big shade with a black fedora. Real sketchy, ya know?"

Desmond narrowed his eyes, trying to think of which assassin would try and disguise themself in such a cliche manner.

"That seems kinda silly.." Amaranth said. "No self respecting assassin would dress like a fool."

Desmond shook his head. "That's the point. It was such a painstakingly obvious get-up that no-one would expect them to be an actual assassin. It stupidly genius. There's only one person I've met that does this..."

Ansen sat down in front of Desmond, suddenly interested. "Oo! Who is it? Oh please do tell!"

Desmond lowered his gaze to the ground, an unreadable expression on his face. "Hm...I don't know...."

Amaranth narrowed her eyes. "No use keeping secrets Desmond, tell us."

Desmond sighed and kept his gaze lowered. "He's...he's my...my twin brother."

Ansen gasped gripping Desmond by the shoulders and violently shaking him. "Whoah! You're a twin! You've got a twin brother!"

"Ansen, calm down." Amaranth said. "It's not uncommon for people to have twin siblings." She added. "Anyways, who is he and is he dangerous?"

Ansen let go of Desmond but still held a wide grin on his face. "Yeah, but you won't understand...maybe I'll explain later."

Desmond gave a hopeless sigh. "It depends which personality he's in right now, he has multiple personality disorder."

"Oh.. So he's mysterious and unpredictable.... Wonderful combination.." Amaranth mumbled sarcastically,

Desmond frowned, crossing his arms. "Yeah, and God knows why he's looking for me."

Ansen looked at Desmond, a little concern clouding his face.

Amaranth sighed and looked down. "Let's just go into the woods..."

Desmond nodded. "Yeah, let's." He stood up with a sigh.

Ansen looked up at the both of them. "Can I come with you guys?"

Amaranth looked at Ansen. "Fine.." She said. "But stay out of trouble."

Ansen stood up excitedly, grinning as he nodded his head. "Yeah, sure thing!"

Desmond chuckled and shook his head, turning and making his way towards the woods.

Amaranth kept her weapons at the ready, looking around d warily.

Desmond sighed as he placed a hand on the hilt of one of his swords.

Ansen whistled quietly as he absently twirled his chain. "Any reason why you two are so tense? What's the point in walking in the woods if ya don't relax?"

"Because anything can be out here." Amaranth said sternly as she looked around. "and i mean anything."

Desmond nodded in agreement, his eyes scanning the bushes up ahead.

Ansen rolled his eyes and kicked a pebble. "Ok, yeah, whatever."

Amaranth nodded and looked around warily and heard movement in the bushes, seeing something white move out of the corner of her eye.

Desmond nodded his head in the direction of the bushes, his eyes narrowing as he silently pulled out one of his swords.

Ansen froze behind them and nervously kept a hand hovering over the hilt of his black sword.

Amaranth looked carefully at the bushes, watching for anymore movement, she spotted another flash of white, and a trio of red eyes along with it, staring straight at her.

Desmond silently walked next to her, holding his sword above the bushes in case the creature tried to attack.

Ansen slowly walked closer, his nervousness now replaced with curiosity.

The three eyes disappeared in another flash of movement, a soft snarl echoing from the bushes as the creature vanished.

Amaranth felt unnerved by whatever that creature was, she breathed deeply, trying to relax herself.

Desmond breathed a sigh of relief as he put his sword back in its case and placed a reassuring hand on Amaranth''s shoulde. "You ok?"

Ansen's eyes widened as the creature disappeared. "What in the hell was that?!"

Amaranth nodded at Desmond and turned to Ansen. "I'm not sure... But it was scary..."

Ansen nodded in agreement. "You got that right..."

Desmond looked at the two of them and raised his hand, telling them to stay back. He silently crept to where the creature ran off, pushing a Bush out of the way. His eyes narrowed as he quickly dodged an arrow and turned back around. "Shit, he's here, we have to go."
